Everything is always better on a biscuit! This place has taken the art of biscuit making to a whole new level, creating sandwiches you would have never even dreamed of! From Chicken & "Waffles" to their Biscuit French Toast, I definitely recommend checking out this spot if you're looking to try something a little more out of the box created with a little southern style home cooking! They also make an amazing hand crafted Nitro Cold Brew served in cute little mason jar mugs that make you feel right at home.
2. First Watch

Attention all health buffs! If you're looking to satisfy your health kicks, look no further! First Watch has what you're looking for! I've personally been going here for years now and it was like finding a hidden gem because they have meals to accommodate for literally any meal I'm craving that day whether it's sweet, savory, or spicy, and still manages to make it healthy! My favorite is their seasonal fresh-made Kale Tonic juice infused with kale and green apples for that naturally sweet fix, and their beautifully made A.M. Superfoods bowl created with chia seed pudding, granola, and mixed berries with a side of whole grain toast and peanut butter to start the day off right.
3. Snooze A.M. Eatery

This place is honestly one of my favorites because it's really quirky and aesthetically pleasing from the bright neon furniture, and gives off such a chill vibe with friendly hospitality that you can't find anywhere else. I love starting my weekend off with one of their famous Boss Hog morning cocktails made with bacon infused bourbon and topped off with a piece of bacon so I can get my protein fix for the day! Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? Speaking of cake, make sure to try out their Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes drizzled with vanilla créme and melted cinnamon butter that will leave you in a sweet utopia!
4. Ascension Coffee

To be honest, I really think that this place is under rated! Ascension is a newer breakfast spot that just popped up in the Dallas area about a few years ago, but they have killer deals on alcohol and pretty unique breakfast options for a decently low price! I mean... $12 mimosa carafes (or $3 individuals for the more discreet alcoholics) and 1/2 off wine bottles that you get to take home with you? Did I mention this is an every day deal?? Pair that with their made to order Avocado Toast along with two poached eggs and I'm sold!
5. Over Easy
1914 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75201
Not all who wander are lost! If you're looking to stray away from the more traditional breakfast choices, I definitely recommend checking out Over Easy if you're ever in the Dallas area! I love coming here for their Chilaquiles because they give you such a large quantity for a pretty decent price. (I mean it's $12; but hey let's be real, that's probably the cheapest you're going to find in the Dallas area lol). They also have a pretty large coffee selection for the more active coffee connoisseurs, such as myself, and is conveniently located in the middle of downtown so you can grab your coffee and enjoy your day in Dallas!
