Stans are rooting to “ship” Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul and honestly, we are here for it! However, recent rumors suggest that Tana and Jake strategically only created the relationship to enhance their YouTube views and social media clout. The rumors of the new relationship have basically broken the Internet, leaving everyone frantically wanting to know one important question: Are Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau really together?

It all began when Tana Mongeau posted a video titled “i got cheated on but that’s okay”, where she openly discusses her recent decision to break-up with ex-boyfriend, Brad Sousa, due to finding out that he had been cheating on her through Snapchat with other females back in his hometown. She concluded the video by briefly talking about her recent battle dealing with depression, and vented to her followers about how truly heartbroken she was about the situation, stating that she doesn't see herself getting into a new relationship anytime soon.
… Okay Tana.. LOL
Not even a week later, Tana posted a new video with YouTuber, Jake Paul titled “Mukbang In Bed With My Rebound Jake Paul” . The famous YouTubers jokingly talked about their new “relationship” while casually kissing, cuddling, and calling each other pet names. Clearly, they are obviously joking about being in a relationship with each other due to stating on numerous occasions that they are both just friends trying to help each other move on from their previous relationships. However, although they actively joke about how they only created the relationship for the views and social media clout, things seem to be genuinely heating up between the two YouTubers and fast.
In addition to Tana posting her Mukbang video, both YouTubers have continued to actively post vlogs with each other in order to show off their new relationship, including videos where Tana takes a pregnancy test, as well as introducing their new family vlog “The Paul’s” where Tana and Jake decide to take on the challenge of becoming parents for 24 hours.
In another recent video, Tana and Jake decide to take their relationship a step further by permanently getting matching tattoos with one another. The "couple" mutually agreed on getting 7 tally marks to symbolize each week that they have been together. Talk about commitment!
During the video, they continually joke about having an open relationship. When Tana is asked, "So if Jake hooked up with another girl, would you take off a Tally Mark?" She replies: "No, we'd add an extra one if she's above a 7, dap me up brotha!" Tana has never really been known to be a monogamous person, so maybe this relationship really could be mutually beneficial for the both of them.
Although Tana and Jake have both expressed that they are not a couple, Jake still appears to be optimistic and seems open to what could potentially happen in the future. In a recent vlog, he addresses the recent rumors that have been circulating the Internet regarding their relationship:
"This whole thing with Tana is like escalating. I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s real, but it’s also not. But it also is, so it’s weird, man. I don’t know what it’s going to turn into. Stay tuned.” -Jake Paul
Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau "stans" have also taken action on the Internet, making #JakePaulPleaseBuyTanaACar go viral on Twitter in less than 24 hours after Tana released the video where Jake teaches her how to drive his Tesla. Initially, people were raging over the idea of shipping "Jana" as a couple, and they did not have a problem voicing their concerns about the rumors:
But it turns out that now people are actually becoming more supportive of the idea including YouTuber, Shane Dawson. Shane is widely known for doing his documentary series on both Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul, where they were coined as "Shane's sociopathic children". So if Shane gives his seal of approval, would it be so bad if we were to ship them, too?
Even Jake's mother had an opinion on the new relationship. She suggested that although she knew that the relationship was for show, she says, "There's definitely some crushing going on, like real, like not just for the camera. There's some crushing, that's a fact." People can clearly visually see that the two share a strong, natural connection where they can be comfortable being themselves around each other. Could this be the start of something genuine?
